Stephen Sachman

Managing Director

Stephen Sachman is a managing director with Benefit Street Partners based in our New York office, where he focuses on private debt opportunities across a range of industries. Prior to joining BSP in 2018, Mr. Sachman spent twelve years as a managing director at BlackRock, where he focused on providing direct lending solutions including second-lien, mezzanine and unitranche financings. Prior to that Mr. Sachman spent nine years at Deutsche Bank Securities, where he was the head of building products/homebuilding investment banking. Mr. Sachman received a Master of Business Administration from the Stern School of Business at New York University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Chicago.
