Samuel Rosen

Managing Director

Sam Rosen is a managing director with Benefit Street Partners based in Charleston, where he focuses on commercial real estate lending. Prior to joining BSP in 2016, Mr. Rosen was a senior vice president at Starwood Mortgage Capital, an executive director at Ladder Capital and a managing director at Deutsche Bank Mortgage Capital for 9 years. Over the course of his career, Mr. Rosen has focused on CMBS loans, as well as equity investments, balance sheet lending and mezzanine loans. He also held positions at UBS, First Union and WMF Capital Corp. Mr. Rosen received a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Washington and Lee University.
