Patrick O’Brien

Patrick O’Brien is a director with Benefit Street Partners and is based in our Boston office. Prior to joining BSP in 2025, Mr. O’Brien worked as a Vice President at Franklin Templeton (FT) within the alternatives space. Prior to joining FT, Mr. O’Brien worked as an associate director at CrossCountry Consulting after working at multiple private equity companies and starting his career at PwC in the asset management industry. Mr. O’Brien received his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in accounting from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and is a Certified Public Accountant.
