Daniel Cruz

Daniel Cruz is a director with Benefit Street Partners and is based in our New York office. Prior to joining BSP in 2020, Mr. Cruz was an associate at Ladder Capital, where he underwrote balance sheet loans, CMBS loans, and equity investments. Prior to joining Ladder, Mr. Cruz was an analyst in Fitch Ratings’ Structured Finance group focusing on CMBS. Mr. Cruz started his career as a capital markets analyst within Bank of New York Mellon’s CMBS lending group. Mr. Cruz received a Bachelor of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance from Florida International University.
