Christian Mutone

Director

Christian Mutone is a director and counsel with Benefit Street Partners and is based in our New York office. Prior to joining BSP in 2022, Mr. Mutone spent over seven years at Sidley Austin LLP, where he was a Senior Managing Associate. His practice focused on representing banks and non-bank lenders in connection with commercial real estate loan originations and related CRE finance and equity work. Prior to joining the real estate department at Sidley in 2016, Mr. Mutone was a member of Sidley’s global finance group, where he represented issuers and underwriters in connection with securitization transactions. He received a Bachelor of Arts in History from New York University and a Juris Doctor from Boston College Law School.
