Brian Nowakowski

Brian Nowakowski is a managing director with Benefit Street Partners in our New York office, where he focuses on originating commercial real estate deals for BSP CRE. Prior to joining BSP in 2015, Mr. Nowakowski was a senior director of loan originations with GE Capital Real Estate, where he originated and closed both CMBS and balance sheet loans across the U.S. for over a decade. Collateral types included office, industrial, retail, multi-family, condo, student housing, self-storage, mobile home parks and hospitality. He also served in a number of additional capacities during his tenure at GE, including international assignments in London, Paris, Florence, Moscow, Shanghai and Mexico City. Mr. Nowakowski received a Master of Science from New York University and a Bachelor of Science from The Pennsylvania State University.
