Aaron Derby

Managing Director

Aaron Derby is a managing director with Benefit Street Partners and is based in Austin. Prior to joining BSP in 2016, Mr. Derby was a director at Redwood Trust, where he focused on the origination of commercial real estate debt for both the balance sheet and for securitization. Prior to Redwood Trust, Mr. Derby worked in commercial real estate debt analytics at Capmark Investments. Mr. Derby received a Bachelor of Science from the University of Delaware.
